The HAN server has been disabled. Currently access to the Library resources from outside the campus (IP PWr network) is realised through a PWr-VPN.

To use the VPN service, you must install the Palo Alto GlobalProtect application, which can be downloaded from the website vpn.pwr.edu.pl (for employees) or vpn.student.pwr.edu.pl (for students and PhD students) by logging in with an ActiveDirectory account .

The IT department suggests following the installation instructions below:

GlobalProtect VPN for employees and people employed under a B2B/UCP contract
GlobalProtect VPN for students and PhD students
GlobalProtect VPN for external sites

At the same time, we would like to inform you that the PWR-VPN service based on the Cisco AnyConnect client is no longer available.

After establishing a VPN connection, the user can use all resources of the PWr-NET network in a safe manner, and additionally, it is also possible to use all Internet resources. The service also provides access to remote resources of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology Library for authorized users (employees, students, doctoral students), in accordance with the Library Regulations.

For the sake of security and the highest quality of the service provided, we would like to inform you that connections made using the PWR-VPN service may be monitored and archived for future analysis.
