The publishing program of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) is implemented under the national license for the journal Science (Virtual Library of Science).

Terms and conditions of the program
- The Science Advances program is an add-on to the national license for the journal Science.
- It covers the publication of open-access articles fully funded through the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (MNiSW) grant for the Virtual Library of Science (WBN): 10 articles in 2026.
- The corresponding author must be affiliated with an institution covered by the Science journal license. The corresponding author should indicate an affiliation with Wrocław University of Science and Technology on the title page of the article, as the university participates in the national Science journal license.
- The article must successfully pass peer review and be accepted for publication.
How to participate in the program
Corresponding authors interested in participating in the program should indicate their affiliation with Wrocław University of Science and Technology when submitting the manuscript for review.
The publisher’s system will automatically identify articles eligible for the program based on the affiliation provided by the corresponding author.
Corresponding authors whose articles have been accepted for publication may also contact the ICM at wbn@icm.edu.pl to make use of the program.
