The Interlibrary Loan service for Wroclaw University of Science and Technology Library users

The Interlibrary Loan service brings in literature from domestic libraries that is not found in the collection of the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology Library and other libraries in Wrocław. The interlibrary loan service from libraries in Poland is free of charge.

You can place an order by e-mail (biblioteka.wypmb@pwr.edu.pl) or in person (building D-21, room 003).

Orders for scans of articles or excerpts from books are sent digitally to the reader's email address. Order processing time for scans: 1-3 working days.

Physical books ordered through the Interlibrary Loan Service may only be used on-site in the Reading Room in building D-21 room 103 or in the Reading Room of the faculty library chosen by the user. Order processing time for books: 5-7 working days.

The interlibrary loan service for foreign libraries

The Wroclaw University of Science and Technology Library lends items from its own collection to foreign libraries for a period of 2 months (including the time needed to ship and return the book). It also provides access to scans of articles and book excerpts.

Requests should be submitted via email to: biblioteka.wypmb@pwr.edu.pl 

When submitting a request, please include the bibliographic description of the desired publication, the request number, and the shipping address (if applicable).

Costs of lending materials to libraries abroad:

• for EU member states: 1-3 IFLA vouchers.
• for non-EU countries: 3-5 IFLA vouchers.

WUST Library/Wrocław Tech covers the shipping costs for the ordered materials, whilst the library placing the order covers the costs of returning the materials.
